Imaginary Creature
The theme for the Sketchbook Challenge for November is Imaginary Creatures. Mine was done with a watercolor splotch that I closed my Moleskine on. It took me a few minutes of staring at it for the creature to reveal itself.
It was a fun exercise. I should do these more often when I'm in a creative funk.

I LOVE him/her. Really do! Hey, have you seen the book "Drawing Lab"? This reminds me of some of the practices in there!
ReplyDeleteActually, Carla Sonheim the author of "Drawing Lab" chose the theme this month. She is part of the Sketchbook Challenge. I do have her book too and have used it quite a bit at the beginning of the year to get my creative juices flowing. I should pull out more often.
