Another Week of Art Journaling

I'm onto week two! To ease myself in and to keep going at it, I prepared the two page spread for the week and journal a little bit each day. This is manageable bites for me. I have so many things I want to do and experiment with and only so much time. There never seems to be enough time to paint and create. I need to find a way to manage my time better. I have two watercolor paintings in progress, my Faces 101 work to complete, art journaling, and I want to make more of the doodle paintings.

  6. Hello, Stephanie! Not sure how I found myself here, but glad I am. Wonderful to meet another self-taught artist, and see your engaging work. This journal page is beautiful--love the way with color, arrangement and proportion. I look forward to visiting here again. :o) P.S. I'm hosting a mixed media Valentine Swap and Giveaway, stop by to see if you'd like to join in.

  7. I LOVE it- love the colors and I love the squares and the way you sort of took it day by day. I'm trying to do that with my own art journal. At first it was SO hard, but now I'm getting a little better at it. I'm also getting better at not feelike like every page has to be AMAZING. I just get done as much as I can and call it a day. Thank you for inspiring me- now I want to get out my journal and play :)

    1. Thanks, Chel! I have to do it in small bites otherwise it won't get done. If it becomes too much 'work' and not enough play, well, I lose interest and it will die.
